ABOUT ME

Hi, my name is Theresa and I am 55 years YOUNG! I've been married to my best friend for over 34 years. We have three grown children and 3 grandchildren with one more on the way! That makes me an empty nester and Nonnie. 

I've worked as a registered nurse for 26 years and now working part time at an outpatient clinic.

 

Around my 50th birthday I decided to grow in my silver strands. I was tired of the upkeep of coloring and I wasn't really happy with the way I looked. I was ready for a change. I had always admired my grandmothers silver hair when I was growing up and knew I always wanted to be silver at some point, but was I ready??

After I started growing it out, people started asking why I was doing it and if I wanted to look old. The answer to that was, NO I want to be me. And that is a woman in her 50's who loves who she is becoming.

 

The number one thing that helped me during my transition was makeup. I discovered the best makeup for my mature skin. It helped me feel beautiful and gave me confidence during my transition. So I decided that I wanted to share and help encourage others along the same path.

That's when Beauty Nurse and Nonnie was born.

 

I want to share my knowledge and experience with woman to help them feel beautiful at any age. Social Media is a place for people from all over to come together and embrace our commonalities. I believe we are all beautiful in our own unique ways.
